Parcel size limits
Before sending, please make sure your parcel’s dimensions and weight stay within the following limits:
Tape measurement (1 × length + 2 × width + 2 × height): max. 300 cm
Weight: max. 25 kg
Length: max. 200 cm
Width: max. 80 cm
Height: max. 60 cm

Countries to which you can send via GLSparcel.fi
Prices apply to parcels sent within Finland and to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
Prices do not apply to areas outside the EU customs and tax territory, or to certain remote areas and islands.
When dropping off your parcel at a Matkahuolto service point, the listed prices apply. Pickup from your address: + 20€ per shipment.

When sending parcels via www.glspaketti.fi, you must accept the delivery terms. For example, dangerous goods cannot be sent via our online store. Please also note that the sender is responsible for ensuring that the package is properly and adequately packed and protected. Our delivery terms and conditions, starting from section 3, contain instructions on content, packaging, and labeling.

How long does delivery take?
When shipping from Finland, our delivery time is usually 1-3 business days to neighboring countries such as Sweden or the Baltic countries. Delivery to more distant European countries usually takes 3-5 business days, and to more remote areas within eight business days.

How the transport process works in practice
The shipping process works as follows: you take your parcel to a drop-off point, or it can be collected directly from you. The parcel is transported to GLS’s Turku terminal, from where it continues via linehaul transport towards the destination country. The routing of the linehaul varies depending on the destination.
Along the way, your parcel is handled and sorted at different hubs, with the number of handling points depending on where the parcel is headed. The parcel is transported to a local terminal and then transferred to a delivery vehicle, which delivers it either to the agreed pickup point, parcel locker, or directly to the recipient’s address depending on the selected delivery option.
In many countries, the GLS App is available, allowing the recipient to track the parcel and even make last-minute delivery changes.
