Whistleblowing / Ombudsman system
We have implemented a whistleblowing/ombudsman system to ensure that employees, business partners and third parties can report any concerns they have about criminal acts and similar serious offences.
On the 19th of December 2022, on the Official Gazette, was published Law no.361/2022, effective from 22nd of December 2022, for transposition into national law of EU Directive 2019/1937, regargding the protection of the persons who report the breaches of law.
Please choose the internal reporting channel via 1) EQS or 2) Dr. Rainer Buchert, Attorney at Law.

Dr. Buchert will not consider complaints which are not of a criminal or similar serious nature. When in doubt, he will advise on how to proceed.
All complaints are confidential. Dr Buchert is required by his statutory lawyers’ confidentiality obligations not to disclose the identity of callers without their explicit consent to do otherwise. He also has the right to refuse to give evidence (including the identity of whistleblowers) if requested by a court of law. Complaints to the ombudsman will only be passed on to GLS once the consent of the complainant has been received.
Any form of retaliation against the whistleblowers is strictly forbidden. Please keep in mind that the law protects you only if the report has been made in good faith. But there can be legal consequences if you know that the report you are submitting is false.
Whistleblowers can choose the internal channels mentioned above or the external ones such as: The National Agency of Integrity or other authorities and public institutions that receive reports of law infringement, depending on their area of expertise.
