Bridge Day and Public Holidays GLS Belgium – May

On Friday, May 15, 2026 (bridge day), our Freight department will not carry out standard deliveries or pickups. Our Parcel department will remain fully operational that day.

Please also note that we will be completely closed on May 1, May 14, and May 25.

Situation in Middle East

Due to the situation in the Middle East, the following countries are not currently served:
• Bahrain
• United Arab Emirates
• Iraq
• Iran
• Kuwait
• Lebanon
• Qatar.

Strike action in italy

Due to a number of motorway closures, deliveries have been delayed in some parts of the national network.

The largest backlogs are currently being processed at the local depots in Bologna (40XXX), Naples (80XXX), Modena (41XXX), Monza (20XXX), Verona (37XXX), Mantua (46XXX) and Rome (00XXX).

Delays due to fuel price protests

The situation in Ireland has stabilised, with only a few operational issues in the south-east in the last mile.
