Interactivity

On the day of delivery, your customer has access to real-time, geolocated tracking on their mobile phone. In case of unforeseen circumstances, they can change their delivery option in real time, right up to the last minute (delivery to a nearby GLS Parcel Shop or to a safe place at home).

Precision

Throughout the delivery process, your customer is kept informed by e-mail and SMS (package handed over to GLS, delivery date, delivery in progress, etc.).

Customisation

Your logo and brand colours are displayed on the parcel's geolocation tracking screen: a high-performance marketing tool.

Flexibility

The day before delivery, your customer can change the delivery address or date, or request a GLS Relay delivery (Point Relais® or Locker or Voisin Relais).

Satisfaction

GLS incorporates a positive reviews engine to boost your e-reputation (post-delivery SMS sent and reviews published on the platform of your choice).

Recipients share their experience with GLS:

I received several text messages and emails before my delivery. On the day, I was given a delivery time slot and could follow the delivery progress in real time. The driver arrived at the expected time.

Business customers share their experience with GLS:

When it comes to small products and home decor, what GLS does addresses something that has become essential: customers want to know when their delivery will arrive. Tracking and accuracy in relation to the announced delivery time are really, really important. That is exactly what we strive to provide across Europe.

We use the FlexDeliveryService solution, which lets customers make a choice up to one hour before delivery: they can have the parcel delivered to a parcel shop, have it delivered to them, or ask for it to be left in a safe place. Thanks to this system, we have very few delivery issues and very little negative feedback from our customers. It allows us to adapt!
